Harlem Art House is a very special place. Just walking in, being there, talking with friends and with strangers who may become friends, reminds me of the time I spent in Chelsea when the art world was budding there, a period I describe in my book True Colors: The Real Life of the Art World. It was also the budding of an art world that helped transform the longtime difficult Lower East Side into the bustling and gregarious area it is right now. If I am reading the signs right & have been to many successful events and Loni is playing such a role today.
