Mercury Art Center is a contemporary art institution based in Lviv, Ukraine, dedicated to researching, preserving and promoting Ukrainian art of the 20th and 21st centuries. Opened in 2024, the center operates through exhibitions, public programs and collaborations with international institutions.
Mercury holds one of the largest collections of Ukrainian modern and contemporary art, comprising over 6,000 works. The collection includes artists such as Oleksa Novakivskyi, Maria Prymachenko, Yakiv Hnizdovsky, Karlo Zvirynsky, Roman Selsky, Oleg Mink, Oleksandr Bohomazov, David Burliuk, Anatol Stepanenko, Roman Zhuk and others.
Currently located at 10 Mitskevych Square, the center will soon relocate to a historic building on Sichovykh Striltsiv Street, crowned with the iconic Mercury sculpture — a symbolic landmark of Lviv. Our mission is to strengthen the global visibility of Ukrainian art and support Ukrainian cultural memory during times of transformation.
