Nepenthe Gallery is a Fine Art Gallery and Custom Frame Shop located just outside of our Nation's Capital in Alexandria, VA.

GALLERY INFORMATION
Nepenthe Gallery is devoted to making Fine Art Fun! We represent more than 75 artists from our community, the nation and the world and we host weekly "ART + WINE + CHEESE" events on Thursdays from 6-7:30 pm when we celebrate art in one of its many forms. We invite school groups to Nepenthe to meet with and learn from our artists and we offer custom framing services on-site using premium, archival products and materials. We also feature works on display on a rotational basis from our private collection, which is on permanent loan to the Muscarelle Museum of Art at William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. We offer delivery and installation services and we happily bring a selection of works to homes and/or offices so customers can see the art on the walls and in the spaces before they purchase it. The word NEPENTHE is Greek and loosely translated it means "...a place of no sorrow..." We live by that mantra---recognizing that there are not ever any art emergencies, yet we know that art in its greatest form on its best day can provide life-saving calm, perspective and a respite to the pressures of life outside our gallery walls.
