Biography : Born in Pescara on Febrary 13, 1962 she studies and works in Rome where she graduated at the Artistic High School and at the Academy of Fashion as a Stylist and Costume Designer. From a very young age she dedicated herself to painting and, in 1981, she exhibited some of her Indian ink drawings, a constant and qualified presence in her work of art. Her style can be defined as Symbolic Figurative and critics often wrote about her “…with her thin mark recall the Pre-Raphaelites”. She uses all the techniques but prefers the oldest as tempera and sanguineous, like Leonardo da Vinci’ self-portrait. In November 2008 she presented 80 paintings in a exhibition named : “Angels and Not” followed in 2010 by a post-modern installation named “What Balls …are the broken balls” a collection of hundreds of painted golf balls, divided by…a mission. 2011 was the year of Pets, to declare her love for animals; 2012 was the year of Belle Epoque, fifty works of shaped women of the last century; 2013 was the year of The Warriors of the Light, thirty portraits of famous artists she elected her best friends ever; 2015 was the year of Shu is the magic square, an exhibition dedicated to the Feng Shui. The passion for the East and the curiosity to melt two different cultures, East and West, produced a collection of EGGS of various sizes and materials, showing ideograms related to the Feng Shui and the chinese zodiac. Last, but not least, from the very same Eggs, a colletion of registered lamps also decoreted with the RIBBONS, the last artist’s creation, still inspired by the Feng Shui philosophy.
