Biography : After earning a BA in Advertising from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), Fornasaro moved to the US where she attended the Fine Arts program at the Corcoran School of Art+Design in Washington, DC. Currently living in Boston, Fornasaro’s work is part of multiple private collections and has been exhibited at galleries, universities, and museums including the MIT Media Lab and Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts. Exhibition : Fornasaro’s Zoomorphs series question the future of humans and their relationship with the Earth’s ecosystem. Drawing the viewers through a cartoonish and irreverent style, reflective of a childhood shaped by 80’s and 90’s cartoons, Fornasaro looks to provoke an insightful inquiry into humanity’s prospects for the future.
