Deconstructing Albers: Form blue to red, 2018
Biography : Roger's work is an extensive reflection about post-modernity presented in a travel-documentary format. All his photographs revolve around the contradictions and transformations that modernity and technology created in our surrounding spaces; and the way in which the human being is able to assimilate and project these confusing changes into his or her social habitat. Artig Gallery is pleased to present “Min Turab”, a series of limited edition photographs, that portray the dichotomy of cultural traditions of Islam and the increasing modernity present in the Persian Gulf, and “Ha Aretz”, a reinterpretation of the biblical landscapes in a globalized world of alienation, conflict and consumerism. Biography : Driven by his passion for The Bauhaus artistic movement, the Spanish artist Salvador Santos starts his career in the artistic world thought the investigation of color and geometric shapes. His style, vibrant and refined, filled with shapes and see thru colors, invite us to get lost in the old-fashioned pleasure of contemplation. The meticulous compositions of Salvador are the result of overlapped basic figures studied by a digital system in which the artist meditates the effect of color over shape. Exhibition : Exhibitions:

Biography : Kim Anna Smith’s pieces central theme is the strength and vulnerability of the collective human experience. The duality and opposition of forces dedicated to create contrast is an essential aspect in her work, especially in her sculptural pieces. Neon is Kim’s chosen medium, through which she expresses her artistic point of view. Kim’s sculptures juxtapose simple and intimate handwritten texts with the utilitarian and commercial function that defines neon. The artist’s own life is the center of her art; the colorful neon pieces expose her feelings, moving us by the simplicity and depth of her messages. Exhibition : Exhibitions (from 2016):
