| Last year Aqua launched an additional venue in a warehouse in the heart of Miami's gallery district, just a few blocks from the Rubell Collection, and near other important venues such as the Margulies Collection and the MOCA Goldman Warehouse, and many satellite fairs. Aqua Wynwood is an intimate booth-style fair featuring approximately 48 exhibition spaces with permanent 10 to 12 foot museum quality walls, (drywall over plywood). Aqua leases the warehouse year-round, allowing exhibitors and their artists plenty of time to create special installations and other projects which are difficult in temporary spaces. Aqua Wynwood also features a breezy open air lounge in the spirit of the courtyard at the Aqua Hotel. Based on the west coast, Aqua's mission is to promote innovative galleries in their region, with approximately 40% of the exhibitors being from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland. Aqua also includes exceptional programs by many other US and international galleries, and continues to broaden each year. Exhibitor applications are now being accepted through April 30. |
